Probably built in the 14th century, this late medieval tower house is considered the oldest surviving building in Lesaka. Although for many years its exterior resembled a traditional farmhouse, archaeological research and drawings by Julio Caro Baroja have allowed its original defensive features to be identified. The building is an exceptional testament to the civil architecture and historical development of the town.
